Water Damage leading to mold growth

On occasion, water damage may be hidden or has affected building materials long enough to cause microbial growth. What we did-

After a large rainstorm, a sump pump collecting water at the bottom of an exterior stairwell failed causing the water to enter under the door and flooded the 3,000 SF school level in the basement with 2 inches of water. We were tasked to deploy emergency service extraction and environment stabilization until the claim could be reviewed by insurance. Upon review and approval, the walls were flood cut, the carpet was removed, and all affected surfaces were disinfected followed by drying of the structure. Afterwards, the affected rooms were restored back to their pre-loss condition along with a few upgrades.
